From our very first step into the world, we are taught to wear masks. We are programmed with identities shaped by the expectations of parents, school, and culture. Fear, shame, and the longing to belong weave, layer by layer, a rigid cocoon.
Little by little, we forget.
We forget who and what we truly are.
How many of your choices are truly your own?
Eventually, a moment comes. Sometimes through suffering, other times through revelation. The cocoon begins to crack. The layers melt away. What once felt like identity reveals itself to be just an old costume.
As the social roles and masks of the Ego dissolve, the true nature of the Self begins to emerge: eternal, pure, uninterrupted.
Chrysalix symbolizes this process of liberation.
It is a recognition of what has always been there, behind the masks.
Its cruciform shape suggests the wings of the Self unfolding, unbound with the melting of the identity cocoon: a flight beyond illusion.
Chrysalix does not ask you to become someone else.
It dares you to see. To see beyond all you were programmed to believe you are. To let your cocoon melt, and to witness yourself, stripped of illusion.
